Refugees from Anglophone Cameroon face tough conditions in Nigeria

It’s been one year since Anglophone separatists declared an independent republic in the two English-speaking regions of Cameroon. That led to clashes between the separatists and Cameroonian soldiers. The UN estimates the fighting has caused the displacement of more than 160,000 people inside the country, with an estimated 40,000 who have fled to neighbouring Nigeria. Our correspondents report from Nigeria, where humanitarian assistance is scarce despite the UN’s appeals for donations.
