‘Reconciliation is far away from the time being in Sudan’

Raja Nicolas Abdel Massih is one of the two women members of Sudan’s Sovereign Council. A lawyer by training, she is part of the Christian minority and is one of the new faces of Sudan. In an interview with FRANCE 24’s Taoufik Mjaied in Khartoum, she said those accused of wrongdoing must be brought to justice as a prerequisite to any reconciliation in the country.
