Ivory Coast ruling party considers Ouattara re-run

Ivory Coast mourns the Prime Minister who had been due to run in up-coming presidential elections. Amadou Gon Coulibaly’s shock death Wednesday has left the ruling party willing to consider incumbant President Alassane Ouattara to run again as its candiate. 

Several people are killed in DR Congo as clashes break out between police and protesters who object to the new chief of the country’s electoral commission. 

And in Kenya, school closures due to the coronavirus have left the most vulnerable even more so… Authourities are worried about a surge in post-lockdown teenage pregnancies.
