Blinken pledges $45 million to boost security on Africa trip

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the United States would provide an additional $45 million to West African nations as part of a plan to battle instability. Blinken is in the middle of a four-nation tour of the region and Tuesday met with the presidents of Nigeria and Ivory Coast.
