DR Congo accuses Apple of using ‘blood minerals’

The Democratic Republic of Congo has threatened Apple of  legal action. Its lawyers accuse the tech giant of buying minerals smuggled from eastern Congo from mines, where human rights are violated by rebels,… into neighbouring Rwanda. Congo’s government is questioning Apple about its knowledge of what it’s calling“blood minerals”.
