Paramilitaries shell displaced persons’ camp as famine grips Sudan’s Darfur region

Sudanese paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) killed at least 15 civilians in a shelling on a displaced persons’ camp in Darfur on Thursday, as famine spreads throughout the country. The same day, Sudan told the International Court of Justice that the United Arab Emirates is the « driving force » behind a « genocide » in the north-east African country.
