South Africa’s foreign minister Ronald Lamola speaks to FRANCE 24 ahead of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s visit to the White House in a bid to reset ties between Pretoria and Washington after the US welcomed dozens of white South Africans as refugees. Lamola denies US allegations that a « genocide » is being committed against Afrikaners. « There will never be an exodus of white Afrikaner farmers on the basis of a genocide, » he says.
