Pope Leo heads to Cameroon with message of peace as separatists announce 3-day truce

Pope Leo XIV will touch down in Cameroon Wednesday for the next stop on his 11-day apostolic journey across Africa. Separatist groups in the English-speaking west declared a three-day ceasefire to allow the pontiff to travel to the conflict-ridden region.
