Visitor numbers to one of the continent’s wonders are down because of a surge in insecurity. DR Congo’s Virunga National Park, home to the last mountain gorillas, is a place of conservation but also increasingly of conflict. Plus, Cameroonian doctors are stretched thin. In a bid to make up the shortfall in available medics and to reduce the risk of face-to-face appointments, more clinics are offering video consultations.
