Kenyan women go digital for equal opportunities

In tonight’s edition: In South Sudan, UN experts say violence against civilians persists with impunity.  And March 8th marks international women’s day. A chance to take stock and celebrate women’s achievements but also acknowledge persistant obstacles to gender equality and equal opportunity. Across Africa women are increasingly taking up more space in sectors traditionally dominated by men. In Zimbabwe that now includes cultivation of one of the country’s biggest, agricultural exports.
