Rwanda : Human Rights Watch reports torture in Rwanda detention facilitites

The Rwandan authorities are committing serious human rights violations in detention centers, notably by torturing detainees, warned the NGO Human Rights Watch on tuesday, denouncing the impunity enjoyed by those responsible. Rwanda, ruled de facto with an iron fist for three decades by Paul Kagame, is regularly accused by NGOs of repressing freedom of expression, criticism and political opposition.
