South Africa condemns Trump ‘propaganda’ after US freezes aid

South Africa on Saturday condemned as « propaganda » claims by US President Donald Trump that a new law would enable Pretoria to expropriate land from white farmers. Trump issued an order freezing aid to South Africa over a law which came into effect in January that he alleges allows land to be seized from white farmers « without compensation ».
